Carmen Rath-Wald is the president of the Tri-County Tourism Alliance and the former North Dakota State University Extension agent for Logan County, N.D. She is interviewed in the documentary
Sue Balcom collected more than 400 photos of farm women from south central North Dakota while putting together the photo exhibit for Women Behind the Plow. The photos and her interviews became a book by the same name and now also have been used in a Prairie Public documentary that will premiere Sept. 26. (Jenny Schlecht/Agweek)
